How to Assign Speed Dials to Poly Edge E400 from Contacts

This guide is designed to walk you through how to assign speed dials to contacts on your Poly Edge E400 from the phone interface. You can still add speed dial options in the VoiceLogix portal but will not be able to select from your contacts in the SNAP Builder.

1. From the home screen interface, hold down the speed dial button you would like assigned to a contact you have loaded in your directory. Contacts loaded into the VoiceLogix portal will automatically be added to the directory.
2. If you already have a contact assigned to the speed dial, press the button under edit.
3. Scroll down to “Favorite Index” and note the number assigned. If you are reassigning the speed dial, go back and delete the contact before proceeding.
4. Open your directory on the home screen.
5. Open the Contact Directory.
6. Select the contact you would like to add to your speed dial and press the info button.
7. Scroll down to “Favorite Index” and change the number to match the Favorite Index for the speed dial you would like to assign and press the save button.
8. The contact will now appear on screen as a speed dial.
