When setting up the Grandstream DP750 the default is to setup all extensions programmed to the base station to each phone. You can choose what account to associate with each handset using P Code Overrides in the Overrides section of the device.
Note that in order to remove or stop displaying an extension on a handset you must set the P Code for the line that you wish to remove to “0” otherwise it will not be removed.
Example
You have 2 lines set up on the base station with 2 handsets subscribed on the base Station.
- Line 1 is Setup as extension 101
- Line 2 is setup as extension 102
By default handset 1 will show Ext 101 and Ext 102 & handset 2 shows Ext 102. If you would prefer only extension 101 appear on handset 1, and only extension 102 on handset 2 then the Overrides will be similar to the following.
- P4300=”1″ – This sets line 1 on the handset 1 to subscribe to line 1 on the base station.
- P4301=”0″ – This sets line 2 to Null (turns off the line) which by default will show line 2 from the base station.
- P4310=”1″ – This sets line 1 on Handset 2 to subscribe to line 2 on the base station.
